How Teeth Whitening Works in 6 Steps
Step 1
First, we will explain the entire teeth whitening process in detail, answer all your questions and record the current shade of your teeth for later comparison.
Step 2
We will then give you protective glasses and place a plastic retractor in your mouth. Step 3
We will apply a silicone barrier between the gums and the enamel and harden it with a special UV light. This protective barrier prevents the whitening gel from coming into contact with your gums.

Once your lips and gums are fully protected, we will begin the whitening itself. The whitening gel is applied evenly to the enamel so that every tooth is covered.
Step 5
A whitening lamp is then positioned in front of your mouth to activate the gel and speed up the whitening process. Your teeth will be exposed to the light in three 15-minute sessions.
Step 6
Finally, we remove all materials from your mouth and record the new shade of your teeth. Together, we then compare the shade before and after the whitening treatment.
